Across the centuries, from rural France to West Hollywood, lyrical poets have encouraged their listeners to discuss and question the world around them. Through their poignant and sometimes controversial compositions they provoke conversation and spark invention. Modern poets such as Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, and many others have continued this long held tradition of storytelling.
